In Memory of XXXX XXXXX
Let us share in the legacy he has left for us…a legacy that will live forever.
From September 1929 to August of 2015 his legacy was built on this earth based on love and respect for his family and friends, his personal view of his faith, his charity, and his unending love for life and sharing joy and happiness, while always being open to opportunities and not wasting any time on mundane trivialities or darkness around him.
His early history begins in Baghdad, being raised as one of the youngest in a large group of siblings, in a family who experienced life during the Great Depression. Moving to Israel in 1951, XXXX was swept up as part of the Exodus of the Jews from Iraq, meeting up with his parents in Tel Aviv, doing odd jobs with the National Service while learning to be self-sufficient by living on his own. He left for Iran as an economic migrant and became fully immersed in the rag trade as a successful and important importer. His accomplishments include several National Awards as a result of his contributions. He met his wife "XXXXX" in Iran, where they consummated their love for each other by producing three wonderful children…this has become the romantic portion of his legacy. After moving to London during the 1979 Iran Revolution, his nerves limited him to only one visit to Iran after the revolution. His business mind and determination kept him seeking opportunities…an attitude he held throughout his life.
As a person who left an indelible mark on this world he will remain in our memories as a socially well-adjusted and consummate party host, always seeking to have fun and experience laughter, while acquiring friends and associates wherever he could. As a family man of faith, XXXX openly displayed his pride for his family, always supporting them regardless of their sexuality or status in life. He also proudly instilled his Zionist principles into his children, with Israel as the center of his life. By understanding and knowing the importance of friendships in his life, he remained in touch with friends for his entire life. As a very sensitive and forgiving man who always tried to maintained his pride by bearing grudges, he always forgave, but not always forgot. Loving food and playing Poker, he once left his mark on the professional player circuit in Las Vegas.
We will take his legacy with us…learn from his wisdom…share in his joy for life… and draw from his example of faithful love for his family and friends.
